Huntington Beach

Goldenwest to Ninth Street

Vibe

The beginning of Surf City USA. Beach area North of Goldenwest is Dog Beach and South of Goldenwest is people only. Surfers park along PCH daily here, but if they live near Palm Avenue or West of it, they can easily walk or bike with their board. Very cute neighborhoods with tree lined streets, parks, schools and a few small markets and restaurants throughout. Walkable/bikeable to Downtown HB. A very popular area to visit and live! Street parking gets very congested in Summer and holidays.

Homes

Like most of Huntington Beach many original homes with traditional or Spanish architecture abound, with more and more Contemporary remodels springing up. Several small to medium apartment complexes sprinkled throughout, as well as the occasional oil well.
